Exhibitor Spotlight

As automated maintenance becomes essential to modern industry, MEMOLUB is helping plants move beyond manual greasing to smarter, safer, and more reliable lubrication practices. Through its portfolio of automatic electro-mechanical single- and multi-point systems, including the next-generation CONNECT, Visio, ONE and HPS Series, the company delivers precise dosing, remote lubrication, and integrated monitoring that reduce downtime, minimise waste, and protect critical assets across demanding environments.

At Lubricant Expo Middle East 2026, taking place 20–22 January in Dubai, MEMOLUB will showcase its latest smart lubrication technologies and real-world case studies. In this interview, the team explores the industry’s biggest lubrication challenges, their vision for a connected, data-driven future, and what visitors can expect to discover at their stand.

What area of the lubricants industry do you specialise in, and how does it benefit the industry?

At MEMOLUB we specialise in automatic, electro-mechanical single- and multi-point lubrication systems that deliver lubricant at the right place, at the right time, and in the right quantity.

Our systems benefit the industry by:

  • Reducing downtime and maintenance costs through accurate, consistent lubrication rather than irregular manual greasing.
  • Minimising over-lubrication or under-lubrication, thus protecting both machinery and lubricant quality.
  • Enabling remote lubrication of hard-to-reach or hazardous points thanks to high-output pressure and smart systems.
  • Incorporating connectivity and Industry 4.0 functionalities (e.g., in our CONNECT Series) so lubrication becomes monitored, intelligent and integrated.

What do you think are the industry’s biggest challenges?

From our vantage point at MEMOLUB, some of the key challenges in the industry are:

  • Manual vs automatic lubrication gap: many assets still rely on manual greasing or outdated systems, which bring risks of human error, irregular intervals, missed points and inefficiency.
  • Over-lubrication / under-lubrication: both are still widespread problems. Machines either get too much lubricant (waste, contamination) or too little (wear, breakdown). MEMOLUB addresses this.
  • Machine complexity + harsh environments: Industry assets are increasingly complex, operate in challenging or hazardous environments (extreme temperatures, remote locations, ATEX zones). The lubrication system must be robust, reliable, and adaptive. 3 checks for MEMOLUB!
  • Data & connectivity integration: The maintenance world is shifting toward predictive and condition-based strategies. For many companies, integrating lubrication into smart asset-management systems is still a hurdle. MEMOLUB’s CONNECT Series is a response to this challenge.
  • Sustainability and cost pressure: With rising energy, lubricant and maintenance costs, companies must do more with less and deliver efficient lubrication, extend lubricant life, minimise waste and reduce environmental footprint. MEMOLUB is helping to tackle these challenges.
  • Skilled maintenance shortage and visibility: Maintenance teams are under pressure; smart lubrication helps reduce dependency on manual scheduling, but adoption is still uneven.

How do you see the industry developing over the next 10+ years?

Looking forward, we at MEMOLUB see several trends shaping the lubricants and lubrication-systems industry:

  • Smart lubrication systems becoming the norm: Automatic systems with connectivity and real-time monitoring will move from “nice-to-have” to standard on modern plants. Expect more analytics, AI-driven feedback, and remote reporting. MEMOLUB’s CONNECT Series already points this direction.
  • Condition-based and predictive maintenance take-up increases: Lubrication will shift from fixed schedules to condition-driven cycles, using data from lubricators themselves and other sensors to determine when, how much and where lubrication is needed.
  • Greater integration with asset-management systems/IoT: Lubrication systems will interface more seamlessly with plant-wide monitoring, control systems, CMMS and digital twin environments.
  • Focus on sustainability: More emphasis on reducing lubricant volumes, extending service lives, lowering waste and energy usage. Lubrication systems that optimise usage will gain favour.
  • Adapting to advanced materials/machines: As machines evolve (higher speeds, new materials, more complex motions) lubrication demands will become more specialised. Lubrication systems must respond with higher precision, more adaptable dosing, and broader lubricant compatibility.
  • Remote & hazardous-zone applications expand: As plants become more automated and remote, lubrication systems must support hard-to-access, high-risk areas with minimal manual intervention.
  • Customisation and modularity: Systems will need to be more modular, adaptable to different sites and applications—rather than “one size fits all”.

Overall, the future is about precision, connectivity, data-driven lubrication, and efficiency.  MEMOLUB is positioning itself squarely in that direction.

What will you be showcasing on your stand at Lubricant Expo?

On our stand we will showcase a range of MEMOLUB innovations including:

  • The CONNECT Series will take the spotlight: Our latest smart lubrication solution with LoRa WAN and Bluetooth connectivity, visual feedback, and AI-driven monitoring — enabling remote lubrication control and integration into smart plants.
  • Other key models from our portfolio:
    • The Visio Series: Automatic lubrication with AI-driven precision, visual monitoring, and PLC feedback.
    • The ONE Series for autonomous single-point lubrication in difficult/hazardous environments (battery powered, ATEX certified).
    • The HPS Series for multi-point lubrication, high versatility, and visual feedback.
    • Possibly the EM Series for micro-lubrication applications: low volumes, precision dosing, small bearings, motors etc.
  • Insights and case-studies: showing how MEMOLUB’s reusable base units, patented technology and high manufacturing standards deliver customer value (from our R&D and in-house assembly)
  • Opportunities for visitors to explore how automatic lubrication can be customised for specific applications, ask questions, and see live/physical units in operation.

What are you most looking forward to seeing at the show?

We’re particularly excited about:

  • Engaging with industry peers, end-users, and OEMs: to hear first-hand about the lubrication challenges they face, this helps us innovate further.
  • Discovering emerging technologies and how they complement lubrication systems (IoT, sensors, condition monitoring, digital maintenance tools), since lubrication is increasingly part of the broader asset-management ecosystem.
  • Meeting new potential distributors, customers, and partners: Lubricant Expo is a great platform to build connections, understand regional markets (especially given our global export footprint in 70+ countries).
  • Showcasing how MEMOLUB can deliver value and learning from feedback on our stand to continue refining our offering ahead of the next decade.
  • Seeing how different industries (food & beverage, automotive, manufacturing, energy, etc) are tackling lubrication and maintenance challenges, gaining inspiration for best-practice solutions and cross-industry innovation. In essence: the show is a chance to both show what we can do and to learn where the industry is going, so we’re very much looking forward to it.
