April 13–15, 2027 | Za’abeel 2 & 3, World Trade Centre | Sheikh Zayed Rd, Trade Center Second, Dubai
The conference brings together technical and business leaders, innovators, and decision-makers from across the lubricants, base oils, additives, and end-user supply chain to discuss the technologies, regulations, and strategies shaping the future of lubrication across the Middle East and Africa.
This year’s themes include but are not limited to:
- Market Trends, International Trade, Supply Chain Resilience and Risk Management: navigating trade flows, shipping disruption, and geopolitical uncertainty; disaster risk management and mitigation planning for lubricant supply; and inventory management strategies for a region exposed to volatile logistics routes.
- The Re-Refined Base Oil Opportunity: regional interest; quality assurance and certification as a route to overcoming buyer skepticism; feedstock availability and the case for local re-refining capacity; and what mainstream adoption in the region would require.
- Lubricants and MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Operations): inventory rationalization, maintenance planning, and the total cost of ownership case for quality lubricants within MRO budgets.
- Grease Technology and Applications: formulation trends, thickener technology, and application-specific grease performance across industrial and automotive end uses.
End-User Sector Focus
The 2027 program will place particular emphasis on attracting and representing the following end-user markets, submissions that include end user speakers are more likely to be accepted:
- Marine: lubrication and grease requirements for marine applications, regulatory and environmental considerations, and the growing role of the Middle East as a bunkering and shipping hub.
- Automotive: OEM requirements, aftermarket trends, and the lubricant implications of the region’s evolving vehicle parc.
- Manufacturing and Industrial: reliability, maintenance, and lubrication management across the region’s expanding industrial base. E.g. Textiles, Mining, Paper & Pulp, Food & Pharmaceutical
- Aviation: lubrication and fluid requirements across aviation applications, an underrepresented but growing area of interest for the region.
The deadline to submit your proposal is 30 October 2026. All submissions will be reviewed within 6–8 weeks of this deadline at the latest. The full agenda will be published ahead of the event.
