Enabling Technologies for Reducing Scope 1 Emissions in Heavy Duty and Off-Road Applications
Thursday, 9 May 2024
The reduction of scope 1 carbon emissions is high on the agenda for many sectors traditionally powered by diesel generators and ICE engines. The European Commission is currently reviewing a proposal to decrease CO2 emissions per km from new HDV by 90% by 2040, as compared to the reference period (1 July 2019 – 30 June 2020), with intermediate targets for 2030 (45%) and 2035 (65%). In addition heavy duty and off road Tier 1s and OEMs are looking at electrification to further reduce their scope 1 emissions. Join this session to learn about:
- Tier 1 and OEM updates on technology trends in heavy duty and off-road applications and lubricants and grease performance requirements
- Maximizing efficiency and durability of hardware in heavy duty vehicles and off-road machinery using lubricants and greases
