Exclusive Interviews Exhibitor Content Exhibitor Spotlight

IPAC has been expanding its global presence while strengthening its position in Europe. What is driving this growth, and why is the European market particularly important to the company?

IPAC has had an active role in the EU lubricant market for many years, and established our office and EU production capacity over a decade ago.  We continue to work within the market to deliver value by designing creative solutions for our customers and view EU lubricant blenders as strategic due to their high level of technical expertise.  With a full range of additives and large production capacity, IPAC’s European business is well positioned to support current and future growth.

Europe is facing increasingly complex lubricant specifications, OEM requirements and regulatory demands. How is IPAC helping customers navigate these challenges through its additive technologies and technical expertise?

IPAC is always working to understand the needs of the market, where our customers are heading and designing products that meet these needs before the market knows they are needed.  We do this through a combination of close connections within the market and diligent R&D to assure that our product development is in-line with the current and future needs of the EU lubricant blender market.  We view our role as a technical consultant to our customers and work closely with them to develop winning formulations for our partnerships.

With lubricant manufacturers under pressure to improve performance while also responding to sustainability and changing market requirements, where are you seeing the greatest demand for innovation in additive technology?

Innovation is critical to IPAC’s business.  It is one of IPAC’s core competencies; critical to our business’s structure and value proposition.  IPAC designs into all of our products value-added attributes like versatility, enhanced functionality and cost effectiveness.  These are the driving factors that lead customers to IPAC and we return value by continuing to find new solutions to meet the needs of an ever evolving market.  An example of this is our work related to biodegradable fluids where we collaborated closely with customers to develop fully biodegradable finished fluids using our newly developed additive packages.

IPAC has manufacturing capabilities in both North America and Europe, including its facility in Ghent, Belgium. How does this global footprint help you provide customers with greater supply security, flexibility and technical support?

IPAC has manufacturing facilities in North America, Europe and Asia – with our newest facility in Singapore being commissioned earlier this year.  IPAC is truly a Global and World Class provider of additive technology to the global lubricant blending industry.  We use our global footprint to assist blenders who have similar global reach, to ensure our products are available wherever they are needed by our customers.  Having the capacity to serve all of these markets in a timely manner with local supply allows our customers to confidently choose IPAC as a true partner to their businesses.

IPAC will be exhibiting at Lubricant Expo Europe 2026. What conversations are you most looking forward to having at the show, and what would you like European lubricant manufacturers and formulators to know about IPAC’s growing capabilities and commitment to the market?

IPAC is exhibiting at Lubricant Expo Europe for the first time this year, but we have attended this event for many years prior.  Our growth in the European market has continued and the organization wants to reinforce our commitment to the EU market.  Our European customers are extremely important to IPAC and we always want to be where they will be, to allow for open and collaborative business discussions.  Additionally, we want to continue to broadcast the value opportunity that IPAC can deliver to potential new partners. When first introduced to IPAC, customers and potential customers quickly understand the value that we offer – technology, versatility, functionality and cost effectiveness.  We hope to have the opportunity to share these values with all of the attendees at the 2026 Lubricant Expo Europe event, and look forward to meeting anyone who is interested in improving their finished lubricant products.
